Apple Updates App Store Guidelines Regarding NFTs and Crypto
In a separate development, Apple has tightened its rules on cryptocurrency and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in its App Store. The updated guidelines prohibit apps that allow users to buy or sell cryptocurrencies or NFTs directly within the app.
The new rules also require apps that offer NFT-related services to clearly disclose that the NFTs are stored on a third-party blockchain, and that Apple is not responsible for the security or functionality of the NFTs.
